Another birthday ...29 and holding?

...a dear friend said to me about my recent birthday. So, you're 29 and holding? That made me start thinking. 29 and holding would mean that I would still be in a bad marriage (yuk), not yet worked in the best job that I'd ever had, not met some of my best friends in the world, not yet given birth to my wonderful, talented, beautiful, smart daughter and wouldn't know Jesus the way I do now.

29 and holding? Nah, 46 suits me fine ...at least for another year.

Shells,

I feel the same way you do. Turning 30 was NO big deal to me. I am glad to see each birthday roll around, because it is better than NOT having one! It is nice to see other women having a good attitude about their age! After all, it's only a number!

Ahhhhhh, 29 and holding. I don't think I would want to go back to 29 either. The way I hear it is, "We get better and better looking each year."

You and I are almost the same age and you so much better than I do. You are fine as a good tasting wine and I am just a old cheap cheap bottle of Boones Farm. You look as good as you did when we were in high school and act the same. Sweet and loving.

amen, sista! Hope you had a great birthday! I wouldn't go back to 29, either--you hit it on the head! Too many bad experiences in my 20s! 30s have been marvelous and I think 40s will just get better. BTW, I can't BELIEVE your age! You look 30 for sure!
Love ya, girl.
