I feel like I have everything--like nothings missing. I'm married to my best friend, the love of my life and we share the most remarkable little boy.
Every parent thinks their child is special--unique. I know that Fred and I are no different from any other. Yet, there is something so special about Ethan. There is a light in his eyes that seems to force people stop and take a second look.
Ethan sang a solo in church today. He amazed the entire church --including his parents. I have never seen Presbyterians give anyone applause in church.
But, they did today. Our little man stood up in his church and sang a song without music and without a microphone. When he was finished, the entire church applauded in unison. I looked over at my sweet husband and saw mist filled eyes --- he was crying. It was one of the single most beautiful moments in my life.
I love my life.
Thank you God. I know I am blessed.
